11:18 pm - Independance Day 2009
So on Tuesday, June 30th I drove Brenda to Sacramento Airport so I could help her pick up Felicia and so I could meet her. Felicia's airplane was half and hour late so we drove around some and came back and Brenda went out to the car to go look for Felicia. I thought I saw Felicia out side the doors with a yellow shirt and glasses, but I wasn't sure, and I wasn't able to stop from where I was anyway, so I came around again and Brenda had found Felicia by then and they came and put her stuff in the car and then we drove away. Brenda had had trouble finding Felicia because she'd been sitting down, and Brenda was looking for her tall 6'1" sister by her height. Anyway, Brenda used Felicia's camera to take some pictures of the house and of Felicia and me and Sophie the cat and then their new haircuts they got when we went to Mollys house two days later. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.c
So Thursday night we went to Molly's house on bikes. Felicia used my emergency bike that I got for $25 from the D.I. It is a 24" one speed, but it works, so hey. Anyway, that was fun. It made me think about getting my hair cut too, but I didn't have any money, and I would feel bad since Brenda and Felicia each paid her $15.
On Friday I took Felicia with me to my parents house to do my laundry so that she could get and use one of their spare bikes. The day before Felicia had been using the bus for transportation and she's going to the Art Institute in downtown Sac, which would be too far to bike, but the bike would help with getting to the bus stops and getting to work. She will only have school on Wednesday and Thurday I think, so that is cool. I called Tami and Mir and Danny and Olivia. Olivia answered her phone and I told her about the divorce and we got caught up and she told me how she and Ross (Mele) had moved back here and they're in some apartments near the Arden Fair Mall. I got the address from her so I could visit. Then Danny called me back, but he was still sorta busy so I just said I would see him at Ross's 4th of July party the next day. My family though Felicia was an especially quiet girl and Bridget wanted to talk to her and find out more about her. Anyway Felicia got Bridgets old bike from highschool that autoshifts and is okay, but it has gotten old, and the back brakes don't work. I tried tightening them, but it didn't help. Um, and then so she went back on the bike after I drew out a map for her. Dad was worried about her having enough strength to go that far on a bike about 5 or 6 miles because she is really small even though she's tall, but I think she probably did just fine.
On Saturday I woke up around 9:00 and the pancake breakfast at the church was over by the time we got there, but it was fun riding there I guess. Dave called around 10:00 letting me know that the place for the munchkin game had changed from Chad's to his place, so I went there a little after 10:30. But as usual, John didn't or couldn't come and Chad, Dave and I ended up playing first Smash Bro. and then RockBand. Alex, Dave's housemate came down and played Rockband with us. Then Bridget called to ask what time I was going to Brenda's community party. I said before 4:00 and that we were playing Rock Band and she could totally come over if she wanted to. So she did and by then Chad had to leave and so did Alex, so it was Bridget, Dave and me playing until 4:00 and then we went back to Brenda's house. Bridget got there first because she was driving, and I had been riding my bike. I opened up the place and put my stuff away and got the keys, and we went to the park. But we hadn't needed the keys because the gates were propped open by a rock.
We saw Felicia and Brenda in the pool and there was a hoola hoop contest and fun stuff. Bridget changed into her new blue floral swimsuit and swam with some kids that were the same kids she had been giving swim lessons to in her job as swim instructor at Rusch park. Mom called asking about us opening the gate for them when they got there, but I let her know that the gates were open and she said they would be coming soon. But it turned up to only be Jared and mom because Heidi was at Jessica's place and Lance went to Johnna's and Dad and mom had an argument so Dad had gotten mad and gotten out of the car to walk home by himself. Anyway the party was fun we had hotdogs and icecream and stuff. Around 7:00 we left. Mom went home after we challenged her to try to be the silent one word answer kind of person to dad so that he would be kinder to her. Bridget, Jared and I went to Ross's house for his party in Bridget's car. Jeff was there, but I think he was in the minion quarters most of the time while I was in the house. We watched fireworks and it was fun. We also watched the movie Wall-E. Um, yeah and then Bridget drove us home and I went to bed. Today I went to church on my bike and gave the lesson for Savannah, Dallin and Joey. They wrote letter to missionaries from our ward. Joey I think couldn't think what to write or to whom, so I let him keep him blank piece of paper. Um today was fast Sunday so I didn't eat until dinnertime. I called Tami and got to talk to her, and she might be available later in the week. On saturday will be Chad's birthday party. Have a good week everyone!

12:48 am - Brenda's House
So it has been fun living here. There is a community pool and nice park behind a bunch of the houses, and Brenda pays Home Owner Association fees. My mom and sister Bridget came over last friday for a small get together Brenda was having and swam in the pool and Becka and Ryan Stephensen and Molly Bates and their kids were there. I made cinnamon buns. First I got the recipe off the internet and then used the breadmaker I bought to make some at my parents house. But it was late and I had to leave. Then when they told me they were good, I used Brenda's breadmaker to make some more. They are quite tasty, but old now. There is still one left. Um tomorrow Brenda is going to pick up Felicia from the airport, and Esther and I are supposed to visit teach Brenda.
I've been working for the past few weeks at Dyer Kelly Elementary school for Summer school. I got a job for the rest of summer school so that is good so I will have the money for rent, or at least most of the money. I still owe Brenda part of the rent. Dyer Kelly is only three miles away so I have been riding my bike. Also I went swimming on Saturday I think with Brenda. Sunday Paul Bates and Scott Dunaway came over and home taught me. Sunday the 21st was Father's day and I brought the banana bread over to my parents where they were having the missionaries over for dinner. Everyone liked the banana bread with walnut in it. Joey Cox one of the kids I teach in primary, his Dad who I don't think is a member came to church for Father's day, and the kids sang two songs at the end of sacrament meeting about how they love their dads. And Yesterday Brianna came, and I haven't her in our class since like February and she didn't know many of the songs, but a lot of the other kids didn't either. I got her a primary CD with the songs on it so she could get to know some of the songs better and said hi to her mom and told her about the 4th of July pancake breakfast and parade that they do every year, and I would try to go and would be happy to see her.
I called Jeff today to tell him about needing to sign some papers, and I have the main papers ready, and just need him to look over them and sign them and then pay for the divorce. He said his paycheck is this friday, but I know he never gets it on that day because it comes int the mail, and since saturday is a holiday he won;t get it till late on Monday, so he said I could come over Tuesday. Saturday will also be when Ross is having his 4th of July party and before that the community here is having a little party in the park. I've been borrowing the Tennis Shoes among the Nephites books from Chad since the game on Saturday. I went to go get the second one today. Tara can't get a job here yet because of government regulations and stuff so she said that she's home all day and I could come over whenever I wanted. I also had a thought that I should invite them to a dinner or something.

02:45 pm - Divorce
So, you're probably wondering about the title, well, yeah, Jeff and I are probably getting a divorce. It might take a while to do the paperwork and actually turn it in and pay for it because we're short on money, but anyway... So when we first got together and I talked about kids to him, he seemed pretty scared about the idea of him being a dad, partly because of how terrible his father was. So I asked if it would be okay to start having kids in 4 or 5 years, and he agreed to think about it. Over the years he talked about how one or two kids would be okay and then we talked about names and stuff, and he hates the weird names I come up with, but he thought Remington would be a good name for a boy, and I thought so too. I'm not as good at coming up with names for boys anyway. Um, but when I told him I was going to stop taking the birth control pill and try to get pregnant a few months ago, he said okay. So I figured that meant he was okay with it and was going to become more responsible. But then he started using a condom, and I confronted him and he admitted that he didn't ever want to have kids. Ahh! That is so annoying to me, if you tell someone something and they don't want you to do it, and it affects them, shouldn't they object? Not just say "okay"?
Yeah.. so then I started looking for houses for fun and was surprised by how cheap they were and how we could be paying the same for a three bedroom house as we were for our one bedroom apartment that we were renting. He didn't seem adverse to the idea, so I called a Real Estate agent in my parents ward that I used to work for and she set us up and I applied for the loan, and I have great credit apparently because of my credit cards (two) that I pay every month, but Jeff had no credit so I had to add him as an authorized user. So I did that and told Jeff, but I don't use my credit cards to spend money anymore, and I wasn't giving him my credit card, so he wouldn't be spending them either. He said that was fine. Then on Wednesday Janice (the realtor) called and asked when Jeff and I would be available to go look at the homes she had emailed me that were available to look at. Two were in my ward, and the other three were in North Highlands near where Greg's mom lives. I said I figured Jeff would be available the next day after work, and since he's been getting less hours he would be off work around 1:30-3:00. She said to call her when we could go. I called Jeff next and told him about going to see houses on Thursday and asked if he would be willing to come. He said sure, that was fine and we said goodbye. When he came home that night though, and we talked about it he said he thought it would be a terrible idea for us to buy a house together. I felt insulted and hurt and asked him why. He said because it felt like we had been waiting to get a divorce for years! Well, if we had been waiting to get a divorce, why hadn't I known? I thought I was waiting for Jeff to shape up and actually act like he was my husband and lover and partner, but he never did. He said he thought I would never be happy with him, and that he hated marriage now and never wanted to be married again. At first when we had gotten married he had wanted to be with me forever, but then he lost interest in the whole thing, like marriage was a shiny toy he got tired of.
I figured maybe he though marriage was horrible because you had to keep working at it, and it wasn't a stale princess fairy tale type marriage which ends the story, its something that is real and alive, and you have to keep giving it attention and energy and trying to make it better, or else it gets stale and falls into disuse and dustyness. Anyway, he had apparently lost interest in being married after about 9 months, or in May 2005, Tamara was getting her divorce. He wanted to get a divorce then because he felt bored being married and didn't think it was fun anymore. I told him no and that we were going to try and I told him what I wanted him to do, and that we had to go on dates and hang out and talk, and I also wanted him to come to church with me again, but he didn't want to. He also wouldn't contribute around the house in any way besides paying Rent. And if I needed more money to buy groceries, he would purposely make sure he spent his money, except for the rent money so he couldn't give me any money. I tried for a long time to get him to cooperate, to interact with me, but he would just refuse and avoid me. He would hang out at his friends right after work, never go with me anywhere, and didn't want me going to see his friends. He became friends with my friend Ross, and go over his house alot too. When I was at Ross's house he would leave the room I was in, he wouldn't want me to sit next to him or anything that is remotely normal for a couple in love to do.
I think he talked alot to Ross and he had gotten drunk there a few times I found out when Bev got drunk and made some comments. I confronted Jeff about it and he sort of skirted around it and then admitted it. I was pissed off that he wouldn't tell me as soon as he could. I love him and want what's best for him, he should tell me when he is happy about something, sad about something, depressed about something, anything, you know, but he just didn't talk to me anymore. I guess he did when we were dating and for a few months after we were married. He has a problem getting addicted easily and because of that he had sort of promised himself and me that he wouldn't do anything that would compromise that. He even stopped drinking Mountain Dew for along time because the caffeine he gets addicted to that, and when he didn't get it often enough he would get headaches and crankyness and stuff. And Ross and Bex have tried to get me to talk to Jeff many times, and I have tried to talk to him, but he's just like a lump of mud or something and won't respond. I have tried so many times so many things, and you know what, you can't have a relationship with a guy who just won't talk to you and won't even come home most of the time.
So when he said all those things about divorce, I actually gave up and agreed. I figured I had tried and done my part, and Jeff just wasn't going to change in this lifetime. If I stayed with him, I would probably end up lonely and childless and I would have to earn half or more of the money and never be happy. Jeff I think is depressed alot, and while I was with him, I was depressed alot too, I just didn't care about some things anymore, because I had tried and tried and it hadn't worked and after a while, you just stop trying, you know? So, I had a thought that I should call Brenda as soon as a I could to ask if I could move in with her. I'm pretty sure it was the spirit, because Brenda was living by herself in her grandma's house and helping fix it and remodel it after the renters had trashed it. There are three bedrooms, and her sister Felicia is coming on June 30th. So I talked to Esther about it and then I called Brenda and she said I could move in and it has definitely been a good thing, being there. She is way more sociable than Jeff, but her house is quiet, not all chaotic and bustly like my parent's house, and I'm in the same ward, and Brenda has some idea of what I'm going through, because she just got divorced about 6 months ago. And everyone has been so nice to me and I thank you so much Esther Dunnaway and John Loyd for helping me move my stuff, and Brenda for letting me move in, and the Bishop listen to me ramble on about the terrible emotional black hole hole that Jeff is. And Ross and Bev for being concerned and helping me by getting Bevs Dad to pay for me helping clean his garage which will help with paying Brenda rent.
By the way, if this is news to you, I'm sorry I haven't gotten time to talk to you and tell you about it, but I hate having to summarize it over and over and would rather let everyone know at once, or through the grapevine, so that I don't have to keep trying to explain myself. Anyway, now you can reach me on my cellphone and stuff. I still have my laptop and books and stuff. Btw, Brenda has a kitty, so its nice to hang out with a cat again too. Because Jeff is allergic to cats and hates cats, if I were with him I would never be able to get a pet cat. I made banana bread from the rotting bananas and oatmeal raisin cookies. I don't have to worry about how Jeff hates oats in his food, or nuts, or how if he's safe and happy or not. I don't have to do his laundry, or pay the utilities for him, or stop myself from thinking about what our future might be like, because it would have been terrible, but now my future will be different, whatever happens, I got off that track, and I'm never getting on again. When I get married again, he has to be strong, and communicative, and honest and want to tell me everything, and get excited about everything and make me feel happy just by being there (which Jeff actually did make me happy just by being there in the begining). A happy fun person to be around, who is a return missionary and who takes responsibility and wants to have kids and own a home and isn't afraid of commitment and is a strong leader and priesthood holder and all the stuff Jeff could have done if he had chosen to, but instead he chose to be lazy and noncommittal, and a depressed black hold that sucks you in and crushes you. Anyway, I am happier now, and I feel sad that Jeff will probably never progress and never be truly happy, but that is none of my concern now, he will take care of himself or not, whatever.
Um, I swear I'm done now, I'm going to go read a book now. La la la.

11:33 pm - Summer is coming... and my birthday!
So, um I haven't updated any of my online journals for a few months. I kept thinking about doing it, but not wanting to bother turning on the computer and waiting for it to warm up and stuff, and then logging all the things that have happened since I last wrote. So I was typing up a character journal for Corlana my new slave girl character in Dave's game.
Corlana Colored by *Jelarin on deviantART
In fact, Dave's game is the only one I'm involved in right now. A friend was supposed to start a D&D 3rd edition game and I got my brother involved and Bridget wants to go too, but after making the character, and having it scheduled for the 22nd of May, they canceled and said they would call when they get caught up on things so we can have a game. Oh well, I know how that goes, but I liked having a more regular game. I'm one to talk, when I had a game, it was pretty irregular, but because of Esther and Scott and Bridget's schedules mostly, not mine. I did do a few games that I was not prepared for that I made up on the fly, that I think suffered for it, but I would rather hang out with some friends and have fun with a GM that was not prepared than just not have an RPG at all. I hear that Jon (The Artist Formerly known as Poofhead) was thinking of quitting the Deadlands game that Jeff, Danny, Ross, Craig and those people go to, and starting a Rifts game with the players playing themselves as characters, but maybe with super powers... I did that one time, it was fun, but only lasted one session. And again, I have come to realize I hate having to prepare that much for a game. I like coming up with story ideas, but when I'm the GM I can't really come up with enough, or good enough stories. I would rather just focus one my one character's story and contribute in that way, so I can be more focused and you know what, I do just as much work because of all the drawings and journals and stuff, but that amount of work just didn't cut it when I was a GM. I had to be more creative and it was like when I was trying to write stories and I just could form my vague ideas into actual plotlines.
Anyway, enough about RPGs. Last Saturday, the last one in May I went over to my parent's house to help them plant the garden. Lots of hard work mixing the nice dark soil and manure from the bags with the yucky hard pan that they have as their dirt. Lance insisted that it wasn't hard pan and that they had a bit of topsoil, but it's about two inches, so it doesn't really count is what I say. Then on Sunday it was the fifth Sunday and I didn't have to do the lesson in nursery, so I got to go to the meeting in the third hour about provident living. It made me think o my parent's garden and what I could do to save money and stuff on food. Then I remembered that Chad and Tara when we had Dave's game at their place, Tara showed me their breadmaker, and that all you had to do with it was to put the ingredients in, press the button, and then then machine did all the work! I thought that breadmakers were really just electric mixing bowls. And the one time I tried to make bread, it didn't rise at all, I did everything I was supposed to, and it didn't rise at all. I t was my rock bread. Anyway, so I bought a breadmaker on my way home from work subbing at Mariemont Elementary at Walmart. When I got home I started making bread, and then Jeff came home and I told him all about it. He was dissapointed when I let him know I was making whole wheat bread first. The next day, Tuesday I didn't get a job from San Juan, so I went over to my parents because they would need me to drive them to Lance's graduation because their little Geo is in the shop for the thermometer or something. I brought the breadmaker and made some bread there and left half of the whole wheat loaf for them. Mom was very excited and wanted to experiment. We went to Lance's graduation which was downtown, the same place that Del Campo had it graduation for Bridget two years ago. Lance wasn't a valedictory scholar like Bridget was, but whatever, it wasn't like Lance had been trying to. It was a long boring ceremony just loud enough to not let you fall asleep, and the chairs were hard. We were up in the balcony like last time, and mom and dad argued about where we were going to sit. It went from about 3:00 to maybe 6:00? Lance's friends Johnna, Heidi (different Heidi) and Johnna's mom came too and sat behind us. Johnna and my sister Heidi were talking about Lance during the ceremony. And when they finally started announcing the graduates, Lance was the first name. The only other names I recognized were Mathew Case ( Bridget's friend Andrew's younger brother), Ryan Blaser, from church, and Aubrey Bryant. Afterwards we had to figure out who was going where. Dad needed to go get the motorcycle which was father downtown and there was terrible traffic by that time of day, but then we decided not to go get his motorcycle and Johnna's mom would drive one of us home and we would meet back at the house and then go out to eat somewhere. After meeting back at the house Lance couldn't think of a place to go. Someone suggested a wafflehouse place, but when we got there we saw (as mom had already said) that it was only a breakfast and lunch place, unlike IHOP. So then we went to the Sunrise Mall foodcourt, because it was so close already. So that was fun. I left the breadmaker at their house so they might have fun with it. Wednesday Jeff came home relatively early and I watched him play video game and tickled his back. On Thursday I went over for laundry and Mom was making bread, but she had changed the recipe. I was worried about how it would turn out because the book that came with the machine that had all these recipes said that the ingredients and precision were very important. Anyway, it fell, and was dense and shaped funny, but tasted alright. Um, I got home late and went to bed. I also was writing up Corlana's journal there because I had brought my computer, and continued writing when I got home. I also got called by Olivia earlier in the day, but was unable to answer the phone because it wouldn't let me. I figured out that it needed to be charged, and then I checked my cellphone which she had left a message on. She is back in Sacramento and is having an open house this Saturday. I wasn't sure if Dave was having a game or not because it will have been three weeks, so I left her a message that said I wasn't sure if I could go. Today I got a hold of Dave and he said that the game will be next Saturday, but tomorrow we could play Rock Band. I want to finish the Corlana journal and a drawing I did that is supposed to be of her that was inspired after reading my new comic book Fray.
Okay, kudos to whoever read the whole thing, I will hopefully update every week from now on, at least, that is my goal, so anyway, thanks for reading.

09:02 am - Devious Journal Entry

Jelarin Completed by *Jelarin on deviantART
So at Dave's game I was lookign through his binders and found Jelarin's character survey. Now I'm going to type it up.
1. Jelarin
2. Jelarin, "Jelly", "Larin", "The Cowardly Mage"
3. Her eyes are sky blue, hair is aqua, and cut short and creamy tan skin.
4. She is 5' 8", somewhat thin, usually has the white robes of a registered mage. She has long front bangs, and short hair in the back, jaw length. Oh yeah, she has pointy ears.
5. She doesn't know where she was born, she can't remember anythign before about a year ago, when she first turned 20.
6. She is almost 21, or around there, she isn't sure because they went back in time and she lost track.
7. She doesn't remember her family, or even if she had one.
8. No, she hasn't begun her own family, and probably won't for a few hundred years or so, because she's an elf, and doesn't consider herself old enough to have kids or a husband yet.
9. She was probably educated at a temple or university with scolars and mages. That was when she found she had magical ability, and they trained her in that. This is extrapolated, she may have learned from a chaos mage, and then gotten registered or from a family friend, or maybe everyone in her family taught her as she grew up. Who knows? She certainly doesn't remember, it was before she turned 20.
10. She has only worked as a mage for her living. When she was living in Starwater with the other elves, she migth've been just studying, but she can't remember.
11. As far as politics, she wants to not be bothered by them.
12. Her moral code is not to kill anyone. But maiming them is fine.
13. Someone seeing her for the first time would see a medium height, very slim, aqua colored haired elf with a huge spell book and white robes signifying her registered mage status.
14. Her goals are to live a long life, not to die too soon, to find out who she is, since she can't remember anything from more than a few years ago. Getting a bunch of cool items, and finding new spells would be good too. She also wants to read lots of books, and own them all.
15. She is generally pretty cowardly. Pretty shy and nervous in some repsects too. She would not want a lot of people watching her. She likes to get things, like more spells, and scrolls, and rings that hold spells. Other cool items she would like to get too. Like an item to make her immortal. She is somewhat friendly, she tries to be nice to other people, but might make mistakes under pressure.
16. She likes to hide behind the biggest party member. She usually dodges quickly, and hides when danger comes.
17. Special abilities she has are; she's really good with spells, she has a huge spellbook, she's pretty good at stealth, and dodging, she can play a flute too.
18. She can't kill people, she can't move without her magical wooden pinnocio gloves. She can't stand up bravely against anything scary.
19. She hates anythign scary. She hates things being taken away from her.
20. She loves using magic, having people love her, or at least not notice her. She loves money. She loves getting itmes that could help her.
21. She sees the government as fine as long as it doesn't bother her. She doesn't ever think about those opposed to government.
22. She has gained a lot of abilities through experience. Her first reaction to a dangerous situation is to run away. Money and a bigger spellbook motivates her to stay with the party (not to be a hero though).
23. She hopes to get cool stuff and spell by adventuring.
24. This goal is in no way more important than her safety. She will try to keep her safety and get to the goals too.
25. The ultimate item would be a spellbook full of all spells, that she would be able to use at all times .
26. The worst curse she could recieve would be to have no more magical ability, or to be not allowed to use her magic how she wanted.
27. Five most important people in her life are; Mickey, Mephistopholes, Allone, dragons she meets and scary people she has to run away from.
28. She trusts Vlad the golden dragon the most.
29. She doesn't have many prejudices. She thinks males are generally stupid and brutish. Especially non-elf males.
30. She wouldn't know what to do with a hireling.
31. Her parents would describe her as small, meek, quiet, sweet, and very shy.
32. The best moment of her life so far was when she got all those spell scrolls in the dragon mountain. The worst so far was after she cast limited wish and mephistopholes cast silence on her, and she couldn't cast any more spells.
33. Her peers when she was a child bullied her, or ignored her. Her elders either praised her loudly, or never noticed her.
34. Many flaws she has. She;s cowardly, she's afraid of confrontations, she can't help reading and grabbing other people's books. She can be hurt very easily too. She pisses some people off now and then too.
35. My advice to her would be to try and get some strangth, and somethings to back up her spellbook and a way to fight back in case she can't use magic.
36. Her secret is her past that she can't remember, the reason she was ostrasized from Starwater, and her real name that she can't remember.
37. She's not willing to die for anything. She would sacrifice her friend's if it would benefit, and not endanger her in any way.
38. Her kryptonite that woudl paralyze her with fear would be no exits in a dangerous place.
39. She reads, practices spells, plays her flute to relax. Far away from people and scary dangerous things.
40. Her ideal mate would be trustworthy at al ltimes, strong, and ready to prtect her and have a compatable personality with her. He would have to be an elf too.
41. She will never die! Well probably in a stupid way, because there were no safe exits. A good life well lived would be to die after everyone she knows dies, to have accumulated all the spells in the world. to own a few libraries, and have a few kids who love her.
42. Any more details might coem later. Especially in journals.

06:34 pm - Another Journal
Okay, the last journal I posted 1/7/09. Since then, Well the seventh was a Wednesday. That day I went to Ross's house because I had talked to Danny before and he said he would meet me there and then we could hang out. But they had this new dungeon game version of Munchkin the card game that is like a parody of D&D. After waiting and watching them play for a few hours, I figured Brenda would be off of work, so I called her. It turns out that she had already called me and we had talked about me doing a painting for her to help decorate her house. So I went over to her place and we went to Michaels to buy the canvases, the thin kind and then went to Walmart and she bought the movie she really wanted "Get Smart" with Anne Hathaway. Anyway, by then it was late, so we promised to think of ideas for the paintings and I went home.
The next day was Thursday, usually the day I go and do laundry at my parents house. I did, but while my first load was in their washer, it started to over flow. We did not notice, however, until Bridget my sister got up from the couch where we were watching something, and went to go to the bathroom which is right across from the laundry room. She checked, and realized from the locked door and sounds that my other sister Heidi was in there taking her shower. Then Bridget said "Hey, why are my socks wet?" She looked down and saw the dampness on the carpet. I looked over then and could see it was coming from the laundry room with its closed door. I opened the door and bunch of water came out. There was a box and the barstool in there that got wet. Later from looking at the box we could see that there had been two inches of water. Well, that was that for my clothes, I would have to get them washed somewhere else. We had to move all the water out into the garage and dry the carpet with lots of towels and then ring them out and use them again; it was hard work. Dad and then Mom when she got home both called a guy they know in their ward that fixes things so he could come fix the washer. Mom was upset when they didn't get called back until the next day and guy said he would come on Saturday. Anyway, I decided I would go over to Ross's because he lived somewhat close to my parents house, a little east of the Sunrise mall, while my parents are a little west of it. I thanked him and did my laundry there. Hung out and stuff too. I might've ended up vacuuming his carpet because mostly no one vacuums it and it gets pretty dirty, and I don't like seeing it or walking on it. Um, so I think that was it for that day, went home and to sleep then.
The next day was Friday. On Wednesday Danny had right before I'd left said he was sorry that we hadn't been able to hang out and that I should call him friday to hang out for real. So I forgave him. I had taken the game Rock Band with me on Wednesday, but no one played. On friday I took it over to Ross's and took Bridget with me. Bev, Ross's girlfriend also wanted to play, but was sad that I hadn't brought the drums. I called Danny and by midafternoon he was ready to go he had cleaned his room or whatever, and I went to go pick him up. When we got back he also played rock band with us. I usually only do the singing. I can't really go past easy on drums or guitar. But the singing I find very easy, even when I didn't know the songs. Anyway, I think that was it and when all the fun was done we went home.
The next day was Saturday the 10th. My brother Lance's 18 year old birthday. He didn't have his birthday party until the next week because he hadn't been doing his chores. In any case, Jeff missed a Deadlands RPG that day, and I went to Dave's place to be in his RPG. We call it Davenloft, because he uses the Whitewolf rules modified by him in a D&D setting. My character journal for that is by Neckra Davis on Livejournal.
I don't have anything written on my calandar that I'm using to help me remember things until the 15th a Thursday. It says I hung out with Alura, and so I did. I went to her place in Orangevale and saw her two cute kitties. Tabby the huge orange moody one, and Little One the part siamese petite playful one. We watched the movies Wall-E because I hadn't seen it yet, and then Short Circuit because I knew that I had seen it, I just couldn't remember anything about it besides the fact that there was a robot in it. These two robots look a lot alike. Alura gave me back the fifth season of Angel that I was letting her borrow even though she hadn't gotten to see it yet, she was just too busy, and it had been like 3-6 months. Anyway, we had fun and I borrowed Chrono Trigger from her and Fable the first one from her housemate Gary. I tried playing chrono trigger, but my ps2 wasn't recognizing the memory card. I shall have to try again, or try to fix it somehow. But her boyfriend Jon the Poofhead was coming over and she had to get ready and shower because they were gonna go on a date or some thing, so I said bye and left.
Friday the 16th says nothing, I think I did my laundry that day, and they had gotten the machine fixed. The 17th was a Saturday and the Primary was having a stake all teachers and leaders meeting at the Stake Center in the morning. So I went there and they showed us about new and more fun teaching methods, that would help the kids who are too wiggly or bored. They gave us egg sausage casserole stuff that was tasty and then we went home. On Sunday after church Jeff had to start his work trip to Merced. Scott Dunnaway and Paul Bates came over to Home teach me and then drove me to Brenda's place where we met Esther and then we visit taught and home taught Brenda. We talked about a bunch of stuff and had fun.
On Monday the 19th I went to my parents house for family home evening, but Mom kept interrupting the lesson that she was teaching. And then she got all angry when we pointed that out and told her we wanted her to just tell the lesson without going off on tangents. After while all the arguing got to me and I threatened I would leave if she just didn't stick to the lesson and be serious. She didn't, so I left. I told them I would be back later though, because I was going to Ross's house to see if they still had any good Gamecube games for my brother Jared to borrow. He had just bought a gamecube and wanted to play Zelda Four Swords, which I had seen at Ross before. So I drove over there and asked, but it hadn't been their game and it was back with its owner Mathew now. I decided I would stay and watch the new episode of House on his cable. After House was over Bev wanted to go to Billards to play pool with other women because Monday was ladies night and free if the table was all women. But Brit, Steph and any other friends she called weren't available, so it was just her, me, Scott (Ross's younger, bigger brother) and Matt. We went there to the place on Garfield, and it was very busy because that had been President's Day I think. We waited for about half an hour before deciding to leave. She said that there had still been at least five people ahead of us on the list. So we went back, I took the gamecube game they had which was Zelda: Ocarina of Time and took it back to my parent's house and showed it to Jared. It was all scratched up so he gave me three dollars to have Fair Game clean it. I went home and to bed then because I had a job in the morning working at Starr King Elementary school.
Tuesday I worked. Wednesday Esther and I tried to visit Tracie Barbour our new visiting teachee, but we could even get in to leave her a note because she was in a gated community. Esther said she would mail it to her. She we left notes for Ellie too I think and went home. The next day was the 22nd my parents 26th anniversary. They were going to go out to eat on Saturday though to celebrate. On Saturday the 24th was Jeff's 25 year old birthday. I made him an eggy sandwhich for breakfast and I had made a chocolate cake the night before that he was very happy with, but he had to work, and I'm not sure he even wanted a birthday party. Dave had his RPG that day too and the journal is on livejournal Neckra_Davis.
I don't really have anything of note written until Thursday the 29th. Heidi had asked me if I could pick up Rayna's kids from school because she couldn't do it anymore because of a College class she was takign with Bridget at that time. I said yes, and talked to Rayna about it. But on that day she canceled because she hadn't gone to work on account of her getting sick. But she wanted me to do it the next week, and I promised to call her. I did my laundry and went home. Friday I was a little sick, or sick of doing stuff so I stayed home and slept about 15 hours. Saturday the 31st I remembered there was a Blood Drive at Sunrise. So I got up and hung out with Jeff for a few hours, but he didn't want people to stick him with needles, he wanted to stay home and be lazy and rest and stuff. So I went and asked Bridget, Lance and Heidi if they wanted to come too. Bridget said she couldn't because the next day was fast sunday and she had to go to swim team on Monday. Heidi and Lance came though. We got T-shirts. Sunday was fast sunday and I got to go to relief society. That means I need to get the lesson ready for next week. Um, Then there was Monday, Jeff got back and gave me the rent money. I deposited the money and wrote the check for rent. I was short 20 dollars thought so I called Brenda and asked her if she could pay me in advance for the the paintings I'm going to do for her. She said sure and came by Tuesday after Mutual. I said thanks and we talked a little on the doorstep, but it was late so we said goodbye.
Tommorrow I need to pick up Rayna's kids from school and do my laundry and write Neckra's last journal. This saturday will be the next game.

10:39 pm - New Year again
New Year again Well, another year has passed, and not much has happened it seems to me. Well, Esther's brother in law got married, so that's nice, and I finally took that english class that apparently I had failed last time at ARC. I finished it too with an A. Um, Ross's house got remodeled. Tami moved to Texas, Mir moved to Arkansas and got married again. At least I think Ross got the minion quarters in the last year. Over the summer when I was going to airsoft games with them that was where we'd meet. Jeff lost his job in June, went a few months looking for a job, and then got back with Thomasville the fancy furniture place that he used to work at right before and when we first got married. Then his dad who was the one to fire him offered him his old job at Varsity back. So he's working there again, as if nothing changed except we lost a lot of money and Jeff's bank account is now closed. He's also getting less hours. I haven't done very many drawings. I think I've colored other people's drawings more than draw my own. But I thank you Dave for keeping your game going so I could have something to draw. Now I have a facebook account as well as my myspace and livejournal accounts so I can keep up with Brenda and other people.
What do I want to do this year? I don't know. Maybe I'll go to more college, but considering I still haven't signed up, it won't be this semester. I really just don't know what I want my major to be. Being an elementary school teacher does still look alright, but maybe it would too much work for me. It's just that I like so many things and learning that I couldn't decide to just focus on one, so when I was in highschool I decided to be an elementary school teacher so that I wouldn't have to pick a subject to major in. Jeff doesn't hang out often. He likes to go to his friend's houses after work and then doesn't come home until it' time to go to bed, or he plays video games, but I would rather him be here and play video games so at least I can be near him and see how he's doing than him being like a ghost.
Okay, over the vacation for Thanksgiving we went to Jeff's mom's house and ate their food, then we went to my parents. Jeff wanted to go in separate vehicles so he wouldn't be constrained to stay if I wanted to stay, so he could leave whenever he felt like it. In fact, he wanted to hang with his friends instead of his family. On Christmas Eve I went to my parents and hung out. Christmas day Jeff said he was going to go to his mom at about 11 to eat breakfast that she'd made. I thought that would be nice. In the morning Jeff's mom called and invited us over saying that she was cooking the bacon. It was 10:30. So we got ready and went there in our separate vehicles. I wanted us both to go in my car so that he could help me in case I got lost, because I had only been there like one time before, but he didn't want to.I found my way though, and wrote down her address. Michael, her husband was the one who opened the door and greeted me. We talked and had fun. Jeff took a little longer than me to get there. Then I went over to my parents after they let me know their dinner would be around 4:00. I hung out at my parents and was finishing sewing up the seat covers I said I would make them for the little Geo Metro somebody gave them. Um, Jeff gave Heidi back the motorcycle he was renting from her from June to beginning of December, because now he's using the Varsity work van to drive around in. Mom and Dad's weeding rings are both broken, and I tried to convince Mom to buy new ones at the Piercing Pagoda in the Sunrise Mall where Jeff and I got our rings for about $50 each. But she doesn't really have the money unless her parents send her some Christmas money. But mom can't even call them because they're living in Florida now and didn't give her a phonenumber, just a tiny postcard with bad handwriting and scratches on it so that it's hard to read. I hope everyone else is doing fine. I started working for the San Juan district as well and Center School district as a substitute instructional assistant. I like being a substitute, and having money, but right now there is no extra money. Afternoons almost everyday I will be free. Call me if you live nearby (withing 15 miles) and want to hang out. I have an xbox 360 and Rockband, a Wii and Super Smash Bro. and board games and movies, and stuff...

11:42 pm - Halloween
Today was Halloween. I didn't get hardly any money this month, so I just wore a black skin tight outfit, a black tail, a black wig and black kitty ears on my head. Heidi was a white bunny with blood on her lips, like the vorpal bunny from monty python. Alura dressed up as Leetah from Elfquest, we had to finish her costume today, and were out late because of it. Bridget wore her awesome outfit of frilly black stuff and bloomers and black lacey veil and gloves and tights, and was a dead gothic lolita person. Lance dressed up in a kilt as a scottsman, Jared was a a privateer(like a pirate, but better dressed and cleaner). Lance's friend Johnna came as a sorta 19th century whore, and Christian, who is Lance's friend; his friend Evan came dressed as Andy Warhol. We got lots of candy and then Alura and I came over to Ross's place and used his computers. Jeff is here, and they're playing the RPG Deadlands. We recently got the game Fable II for the Xbox360 and it's really fun. I talked to Alura about it and she has been playing it too and it was why she needed help to finish her costume so late in the month. Jeff is sick, but still has to go to work because there is no one to cover for him. I'm going to let him borrow the car tommorrow because It is all rainy. It was raining while we were trick or treating, which has like never happened to us before, so we didn't see all the houses. Anyway, It's late, and I want to go home and sleep. Also I want to go play some more of Fable II. I will give Jeff a ride home because it is still raining. Good night.

12:11 am - Ross's place
So Jeff got a job at his old work at Thomasville furniture place. He will probably be driving a truck to the places to deliver the fancy furniture they make. I borrowed money from my parents to help pay the rent and will be paying them back over this month. Jeff is still riding Heidi's motorcycle and will pay her when he is able, but he kept coming over to Ross's house after work, so today I decided to come here first! Well we got here at the same time becasue I went to my parent's house first. Oh, and on Monday I went to my parents to make apple pie from the apples that came off of their tree, and for family home evening which was nice to be there for. Saturday was Dave's game, but only Tracy, John and I were there and Dave wanted Greg and Tami to be there for important plot story event to take place so we went on a side trip to get some bone paste so that when fenris makes Buttercup into an undead slave she will be mroe durable. I called Center school sub system to let them know that I'm free again and will be able to sub for their intructional assisstants again. Today anyway, We got here at the same time. I cleaned up and vaccumed because Ross needs a housecleaner person, and this place racks up so much trash. Bev made tasty bread crumbs chicken brocoli cheese stuff. Jon came over, I made brownies, Jeff, Ross, Jon, and Scott and maybe others ate it. I did too of course. Except for Tuesday and Thursday nights I'm pretty much free now. The days I might be caleld to work, or I might not. I also applied at San Juan, and I'm waiting to see if they want me to go get fingerprinted and stuff. In Center, to be a sub instruc assistant you just take the test and get the drug test and fingerprinting and they put you on the list of people to call when they need a sub. At San Juan, you take the test, and then apply to be a substitute, and if they need more subs then they call you and you go get the fingerprints and maybe drug test. Center pays for the tests, but San Juan doesn't. Anyway, call me, I'm bored most of the time now. I've run out of things to do...

Bridget and Heidi are also signing up for classes at ARC, they start the 25th I beleive. The San Juan district is starting this monday, and Center school district already started way back on the 6th, a wednesday. See you tomorrow Tami! I think the game starts at 10:30, you can call Dave and ask if that's right. Um, um if Alura checks this, it would be cool to hang out with you sometime, let me know when you're off work. Um, call me people! I will be free on Mondays, Wednesdays, and afternoons.

11:49 pm - Dr. Horrible
I know I haven't updated in like two weeks, and I will do a real journal soon, but I thought you all (like there's a lot of people) should check out this web miniseries musical comedy that Joss Whedon directed, and all his friends helped. here is the link: http://drhorrible.com/index.html
Okay, Dave's game was yesterday, great, that was the 8th session my Neckra Davis character has been to so I might start a journal for her too now that she's got enough journals. The day before that was my game with a Sliders based setting, jumping through dimensional portals, I think I already posted stuff about that. And tomorrow I have to wake up early to go to work so I should stop now before midnight and go to bed, so note me, email me, comment if you want me to feel nice and validated, knowing that people actually read this. I know that at least Dave does, and maybe Mir. Okay, bye now.

01:46 am - Ross's July 4th party
So we came over to Ross's place to watch the Sunrise fireworks, talk, watch Danny play Twilight Princess on the Wii, eat their food, meet old friends watch the put fireworks in glass bottles that exploded and other such normal stuff. Since Ross got the front area that used to be a garage all fixed up, most people hang out there. It's called the Minion quarters. In fact, I'm at their place right now, using their computer which is in the Minion quarters, while the other people are playing Munchkin. It is a widely popular game adopted by my different groups of friends independently of each other. Heidi and Bridget both came over too as well as Jeff. Jeff first went to his sister Becky's and then to his Dad's barbeque. Heidi and Bridget went to Lance's friends Johnna's house, she has a pool. I did my laundry at my parent's house earlier, read more of the Miles in Love compendium book I just got with the Barnes and Noble gift card from Esther and Scott. I can't have a RPG until they get back from Alabama where some of Scott's relatives live. I have sorta asked Danny to come too, I don't know if he remembers. Also I was thinking of starting a new game where all the players take turns being the GM. There would be no continuous connecting story arch I guess unless they made it up as they went along. Which I think would be fun to do and everyone would get to be a character, and no one would have to have the total burden of being the GM all the time, and everyone would have a definite contribution. So far I think the people who would be good for this might be: Danny, Dave, Me, Ross? Craig? Brit? and then maybe some people who would just be players. Jon said he would like to be a player, but not a GM because he likes to do overarching stories and have it all connected and he wouldn't be able to do that really. I haven't talked about it to Craig and Brit and Ross didn't say much when I told Danny, Jon and Ross on the day they had airsoft and I gave blood the day before so I came late to just hang out and not run around.
Jeff doesn't have his job anymore. He said he had an argument with his Dad who is his boss over the quality of his work or something. I am trying to get him to take the GED test so he can have a better chance of getting a good job this time. He says he's considering it. It will cost money to sign up for the test though. I got the Wizard of Oz book as well and got a list of all the sequels. I think I'll just work on getting the ones written by L. Frank Baum, that's at least 13 books right there. Plenty. Please comment, call me, contact me to let me know you are still alive, or post a journal. It's good to see that my friends are still here. It's 2:00am now, so I think I'll stop and go home. See you at the RPG tomorrow Dave.

10:36 pm - My birthday
So I got my car painted bright blue at Maaco on May 27th. I picked it up on the 30th. The next day, June 1st a Saturday Dave had his RPG. The next day, Sunday after church I called Olivia to go hang out with her before she left to Mexico on monday. She asked if I had work the next day, and I didn't so she asked if I would drive her and her fiance Ross to the Oakland airport at 2:00 am in the morning. I decided that it would be fun and said yes. I showed her, Ross and her mom Angela my car that was painted all pretty. We drove and she gave directions, lots fo freeway and highspeeds. It was sorta cold in oakland. I walked tem to the terminal, but it wasn't open because it was too early. It took less than two hours to get there it was only 4:00 am. They said bye, and I wished them fun in Mexico, and I took the return directions to go back. On my way back before I got on the freeway, Olivia called my cellphone saying she needed me to come back. So I did and met them at the terminal and I found out that Ross had forgotten his passport. He hadn't thought that it mattered though because he'd gone through airprts to Mexico before without his passport, but now they require it. So We decided that I would drive them back to their apartment in Sonoma to get his passport, and they rescheduled their flight for the next morning. Olivia drove while I zoned out. We were very tired, but they could get into their apartment because they had left their keys with a neighbor who was at work, and the apartment manager wasn't up at 6:00 am in the morning. So we went to a bagel shop and ate breakfast. At 7:00 their manager gave them keys to open their apartment and we went in. Olivia set up their futon for me to sleep on and closed the blinds and I think they went to sleep in the bedroom. After I woke up she gave me some clothes, and we went out. We went to see Sonoma University and she showed me around, then it was past noon and I wanted to get back by 2:00 so I could go hang out with Tami. We went to Valeho. I dropped them off where they had aranged to be picked up by someone else who would drive them to the airport in the morning. I drove back home on the I-80. I called Tami soon after I got home, and she was at home still recovering from her wounds. I mean from the gallbladder being taken out and having staples removed after her cuts healed some. S oI went over there, and brought the Angel disk that I had left at my parents that she hadn't got to see. I brought bread, and we ate spaghetti and watched Hairspray (good movie) and then we watched like two episodes of Angel, and then it was 10:00 and I had to go home.
In the morning I found I was all sick and icky mucus, so I called in sick and didn't go to work. That friday Jeff finally got Heidi's motorcycle because the shop had finally got the rectifier for it and replaced it. He was very happy, and I brought Heidi the anime that Olivia gave me to give to her, except some of it is Olivia's brother's James and he might want it back later, but for now it is Heidi's. And I found out that Heidi was back because she had gotten fired from the trucking company for running into a pole and running into a tree with the huge truck.
That evening Friday I tried to have a RPG with Just Bridget and Dave, it was alright, they got to the end of the war game and got the magic mirror shard.
On Monday the 9th was my birthday, I even forgot until I was trying to figure out what day it was at the school where I am helping out with Summer School for my job. Jeff forgot too, until friday. Wednesday Esther and I went to go see Brenda and got to see the work they're doing on her Grandma's house. Thursday I did laundry at my parent's house and it was Jared's 14 birthday. Friday I mostly slept in. Saturday was my birthday party. I had told Tami I wasn't sure about the day and would call her back, but I forgot, and thought she knew somehow because I called other people and she went to Denios and couldn't come. Alura came and got her shirt, Esther and Scott came and helped me clean up. Mom, Dad, Jared, Lance, and Heidi all came with the cake mom had made. We played the game of life and watched Jeff play psychedelic video games. Mom and Jared went out to swim in the pool. Danny came around 7 or 8. He brought food. We played Smash Brother Brawl, and then we played Rock band. Jeff and I drove Danny home to his new place in Granite Bay. Sunday morning I went to Ross's house to play airsoft before church. At church I helped Brenda teach the 3 and 4 year old Sunbeams. After church I went straight to Dave's place for an RPG, but it had been cancelled because John and Tracy weren't coming. I played Smash brother Melee with Greg and Dave for a while, and ate some of his food, and gave him the finished character survey. Today, Monday I finished the long journal from last time which lasted at least 7 hours and came out to be almost three pages typed. Emailed it to him and now I should go to bed.

How it works:
Rules:
Pick 3 of your characters.
Make them answer the following questions.
Pick 3 other people to do the same.
I choose: Eowyn, my first Alternity character, her daughter Wynnifred, and Neckra the Mutant werewolf.
1) How old are you?
Eowyn: Well, since I'm dead.. I died at 28. But I traveled in time many times, so age is confusing. I'll live to 800.
Wynnifred: I am 42 chronologically and physically 25, But I'll live to 800
Neckra: I am 52 chonologically, physically 35. I'll live to maybe 300.
2) Size?
Eowyn: 4'10" 85 lb athletic muscular, very small elf person.
Wynnifred: 5' 105 lb weak, pretty little elf person
Neckra: 5'10" strong muscular scary amazon woman
3) Wrong habits?
Eowyn: What do you mean by that?
Wynnifred: I keep secrets about my origin, don't give all the information I could.
Neckra: I sometimes turn into a werewolf and try to eat people?
4) Are you a virgin?
Eowyn: As far as I know.
Wynnifred: I'm not married, so of course I'm a virgin.
Neckra: Ha! Why would I ever want to be a virgin!
5) Married or single?
Eowyn: Well, since I'm dead now, I'll never get married.
Wynnifred: I'm way to young to be married, When I'm at least 120 years old I'll think about it.
Neckra: Who said commitment? Not me!
6) Do you have children?
Eowyn: Not that I know of...
Wynnifred: No! I'm way too young for responsibilities like that.
Neckra: Yes, unfortunately. Six accidental children, two of which died, while the others grew up in 5 years...
7) Favourite food?
Eowyn: Anything that tastes good.
Wynnifred: Chocolate.
Neckra: The defeat of my enemies! Wait, that's not a food?
8) Do you have any secrets?
Eowyn: Not that I know of.
Wynnifred: I didn't tell the non-Neydian people who I was, or who I work for.
Neckra: My past isn't really a secret, I just don't talk about it.
9) Are you in love?
Eowyn: Never got a chance to.
Wynnifred: Way too young! (Do I have to keep saying this?)
Neckra: Uh, maybe...?
10) Favourite band, singer, or CD?
Eowyn: Oh, I liked Lorelei the pop star.
Wynnifred: Um, that information is confidential.
Neckra: Music is for pussies!

Neckra: Camping if there are wild animals for me to kill.
14) Were you born naturally or cloned?
Eowyn: Naturally born I think. I didn't know my parents.
Wynnifred: Not cloned, but not naturally born either. I had a surrogate birth mother.
Neckra: Naturally born to my whorish mother.
15) Favourite ice cream flavour?
Eowyn: What is ice cream?
Wynnifred: Fudge ripple.
Neckra: Ice cream is for children.
16) Have you ever killed someone?
Eowyn: Only through ignorance sadly..
Wynnifred: Only bad guys.
Neckra: Plenty, it was fun.
17) Fat or slim?
Eowyn: Slim
Wynnifred: Slim
Neckra: Muscular?
18) Something strange about you?
Eowyn: I'm a Neydian who thinks I'm an elf in a world that thinks I'm a mutant.
Wynnifred: I was conceived after my parents were dead.
Neckra: I gave birth to six werewolf babies all at once!
19) Favourite movie?
Eowyn: I'm not sure, haven't seen that many. Maybe "The Wizard of Oz"
Wynnifred: Any John Wayne movie.
Neckra: Movies are for lazy people.
20) Dreams?
Eowyn: To grow up, be loved, find a good guy, have a family, live my full 800 years... but that won't happen.
Wynnifred: To have fun, adventures, find out new stuff, explore, and watch my friends and family grow and change.
Neckra: To go back in time, and stop the conception of my terrible werewolf children!

So Twelve I've read, eight of which I chose to read. Although the books for school I ended up liking usually. I haven't read Count of Monte Cristo yet because it is so big and long looking. My sister Bridget has read more of those, like the Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Grapes of Wrath(I only had to watch the movie, and it was so boring I decided not to read the book). If I didn't finish the book, it was because it was lacking plot, and was too long winded even for me. I recommend don't read it.

01:23 pm - R & R Photos
On the 26th I had a photo shoot with this company, a father and son team I think, Rusty and Ryan. I met them on www.modelmayhem.com and since they are in Sacramento, agreed to go let them take pictures of me for free. They want to build up their portfolio, and I needed some good photos for the modelmayhem profile I got and also because it's fun to take pictures, and pose for them, and I haven't had portraits in years. In fact my family needs some photos too, but we just need to find a time when everyone is available. I posted these pictures on Myspace, and some of them are on modelmayhem. I'll put the links at the bottom.
I was also going to have a role-playing game that Saturday, but Jeff was going to his friend Cornell's birthday party in Santa Rosa(I think that's where he lives) Bridget had a swim meet, and Scott had an Accountant Club thing at the college that he goes to. Dave would be available in the afternoon and neither would Jeff, so really, the whole day would be unavailable to have the game. Dave came over because I didn't find out in time to call him before he left. We played some Wii sports and Wii play. After my photo shoot Bridget came over and we watched a movie Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore. That's about it. Mom called trying to get Bridget to come home for family prayer and scripture, but it was only 9:00. She stayed till the end of the movie at 10:00 and then she went home.
Sunday I went to church and Brenda Durham wasn't there. The last week she hadn't been there because she was sick so she called me so I would know I had to do the lesson for the Sunbeams (3-4 year old class). But this week I wasn't prepared at all, and we went on a walk in the rain under my umbrella and talked a little about nature and how Heavenly father made this beautiful world for us. Then there was some extra time and they wanted to color, but the library with the supplies was closed so I took out old handouts from my backpack and folded them into fish for the kids. They really liked having paper fish to play with and showed them to everyone, and had them swimming all over the primary room. I think they were pretty well behaved, they were just excited. And when it was singing time they sat still better.
After church Jeff told me about the R & R photos people called saying my photos were ready. I called them after diner and we decided I would go over there to pick up the photos.
Um, Monday I went to the elementary school Dudley to tutor the kids as part of my Americorps membership that I do every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 to 4:30. It was an early day so I didn't get to spend time with the kids after lunch and recess. At 6:30 I went to the R&R photos place to get my photos. They told me that they had them developed at the photo place Jon works and they sorta knew him because they go there a lot. He asked them how they knew me because the photos were of me. So that's neat. I really liked the photos they had for me. It's nice to have some good portraits of myself. I talked to them and they said they would be happy to do family portraits too, so if I can get everyone together we could get the first family portrait in almost seven years. I also after work on Monday ordered some Orson Scott Card books on Amazon.com and they should be on their way now. Actually one set is already here the website told me, so I will probably check the mail soon.
Today, Tuesday I came to my parent's house to see if Dad had gotten further with putting in the ceiling fan in lance's room that we painted blue, but he wasn't feeling well. He told me about his scooter accident that gave him a concussion and bruised his ribs. He said at the school he goes to he was walking in what he thought was a straight line but everyone else saw was a terribly wobbly one. He might have brain damage and if he doesn't eat enough often enough he gets dizzy and headachy(but he's been hypoglycemic for years now). So I didn't ask him to do any more work. I hope he gets better. He's taking medication for the shakiness and headaches, but they make him drowzy, and I don't think he should try to go back to school until he's recovered. I told him it would probably be at least a week as far as I could tell until he wouldn't have to take the medication and could drive himself to school. Mom of course won't drive him to school.
Also he told me about Jared getting grounded because he was playing with a knife. Mom saw him and kept telling him to stop, and he did and put it down. Mom went to pick it up, but then Jared pulled it out of her hand and sliced her hand up. Dad thinks maybe he should be restricted from the use of sharp objects in scouting, there was a term for it though. I think Jared needed more structure when he was younger, but Mom and Dad were so busy and caught up in their worries that they hardly had time for that. Now all we can do is our best and hope and try to help Jared become more respectful. But throwing all these boundaries all of sudden on him will just make him angry and won't help, so maybe gradual enforcement of rules he has been breaking all these years? Maybe we should send him to live with Uncle Mark and Aunt Vicky. I remember how Jason and Jake really listened to her. She knew how to keep discipline, but we still liked her. I'll tell Dad, and see what he thinks. Maybe Vicky and Mark have too much to do to handle another young kid now. I don't know. But a good thing, last Saturday Vicky and Jake got baptized and hopefully that means that Mark is active in the church again too. I want to go visit them soon. Jeff doesn't want to go on vacation though. Maybe I'll just take Bridget, Lance, Dad and Jared in my little car down there for a few days this summer.

02:52 pm - Sick...?
So, on Wednesday I woke up too sick to go to work. I hoped to get better, and I did a little, enough to walk around, and talk without having to go blow my nose every few seconds, but still, my voice sounded funny, and I had to keep drinking lots of water. So still, it's Sunday now, and I would normally be at church right now, but, not I wake up with the snot coming out even faster than before. So, I get to have tissues and a towel next to me.
I got Jeff a moogle for his birthday! He is 24 years old now. Danny's birthday is coming up on March 10th. And Lance turned 17 back on January 10th. I bought paint and rollers a few weeks ago to paint the bedrooms in my parent's house. Bridget picked a light aqua color, Jared got fire engine red, Heidi got cranberry burgandy, Lance got a nice medium blue. Mom wants to get some some of lavender or blue for their room. I also bought a ceiling fan for Heidi's room. Bridget got some nice shiny blue curtains. And Bridget futon bunk bed is going to go to Jared's room because it id red and would match his room, while it looks terrible in her green and aqua room. We also rearranged the furniture to make the rooms look bigger, and the have cleaned up a lot of their junk. Bridget, Lance and Heidi need to clean up some more. Bridget and Jared's room are the ones we've painted so far. Mom wants to take back the paint we got for Heidi's room because she doesn't like dark colors for walls, only for carpet to cover up the dirt. So for spring break we will be painting all the rest of the rooms, putting in ceiling fans, moving furniture around, decorating, and maybe putting curtains in some of the rooms. Mom and Heidi also need new haircuts to flatter their faces. Here's a funny story. One day for school, mom was dressing up as Bridget, and since Bridget has straight hair, mom was using Heidi's straightener to make her hair straighter. Well, it wasn't working very well, so she put water in her hair to help. ! Ha ha. So that's why she told us all that the straightener didn't work on her hair. And Heidi's hair is just too long and curls in all the wrong places. She needs bangs to hide that huge forehead of hers, and her hair needs to be shorter so she can manage it better. One of her dolls has a wig with a hairdo we all think would look great on her, so we're going to use that as a model when and if we get Linda Esther's sister to cut her hair. Mom could use her hair being given more volume, more dark color, and some good makeup. But, uh yeah. Also I recently found a website called www.modelmayhem.com and got an account there as a model and a photograpghy studio in sacramento is agreeing to take some nice pictures of me in a few weeks. Also, I was thinking of calling John and let him take photos, because he had some talent in that area, but I am always cautious and scared now to contact him. I guess because I used to be good friends with him, and then I stopped trying to be friends, and got busy, and only saw him at games, and then was dissapointed with his stopping the games, or his attempt at finishing the story. Now I think I'm afraid he won't want to talk to me or something. I guess I should just call him anyway, and as he'll probably be busy I can just leave a message...
Okay, I got all the W2 forms, and I am almost done with the taxes. We will get a nice tax return and might buy a new flat HDTV with the money. And I'm going to get Jeff's friend Pat to paint my car. Soon. I swear. Oh, and Bridget got a car. A Honda CRX 1989. It's as old as she is! It has a nice dark blue color, and only two seats, is stickshift, but if good for her so she can go to college or where ever without having to borrow the Astro from my parents. So, now I have a car, Heidi has a motorcycle, Bridget has a little car, mom and Dad have the astro and their two scooters. Yeah! Jeff wants a car of his own, but I think he wants the HDTV more. You guys can call me anytime, if I'm not home, please leave a message, and I will call you back. Or at least I will intend to call you back. Sorry Alura.... I'll call you guys when I'm not sick anymore. Oh, and Dave the next game is going to be this Saturday, the 16th. I'll call you before then.

Shards: Person & abilities: (21 total shards)
Roxxanne: Richard: Lilliana:
1 Firebolt Strength Nightvision
2 Super per Telekinitics Cure
3 Breath water Invisibility Open Portals
4 Fly Fireshield Weather
First- Ttocs Dunn and Dannalee Dunn are in their house. She has created the paratunneler, and thinks it will do something else. Richard Fox, their cop friend comes over to see what it does. They activate it, and it opens a portal. Things start getting sucked into it. Dannalee can't figure out how to turn it off, since it wasn't supposed to do this. The refridgerator gets pulled in, and they aren't able to hold on anymore, and get sucked in as well. Outside, Roxxanne Knievel, the granddaughter of Evil Knievel is lounging in her trailer with her motorcycle and watching T.V. Her trailer gets loose, and starts rolling along the street. Makes creaking noises when it came undone. Rolls past the house of Ttocs and Dannalee and gets sucked into the portal as well. They land in an arctic wasteland with snow. It looks like Sacramento without any buildings. They can see the river frozen in the distance. The trailer, and Richard's car were cut apart by the small tunnel of the portal. The trunk of the cop car is all that's left. Roxxanne's motorcycle is okay, but her trailer is ruined. Dannalee starts thinking of plans of how this could have happened and how to fix it. Mr. Stubbs the pet monkey of Dannalee runs around, and gets too cold. Ttocs gets stuck in the snow. Richard uses his car trunk for leverage to pull Ttocs out. Roxxanne starts a fire so that they won't freeze. Dannalee asks to use Roxxanne's motorcycle for parts to create a generator to power their device so they can get out. She says no at first, but they explain how they'll just use the engine power. They get a different invention that Dannalee juryrigs with the stuff they have. They have to crank it, and it powers the device enough, and opens a portal. They take some of the stuff from their basement that had come along, like clothes, and packs. But it isn't big enough for Richard's car trunk, and barely big enough for Roxxanne's motorcycle.
They land in a nice park, and then go back to their house. Richard's car isn't in front, and the house is decorated differently. They check the mailbox, and all the letters are addressed to Elizabeth and Edward Kazinski. They decide to check the local gas station for newspapers. They list the correct date, but the headline article has a picture of a guy who looks like Hitler. From reading it, they find that this place was ruled by Communists. They go to a secluded area to activate their device to leave because they are scared to be there. At the park where there was a stature of JFK, there was instead a stature of Stalin. They go through the portal, and land in a grove of trees that seems the same as before. This park has no statue. Roxxanne rides ahead on her motorcycle to check the mailbox, and it has the same wrong names. She comes back, and tells them. Then when they find out who she is, they ask her to perform tricks. She does a wheely. Some boys walk by and ask who she is, and comment on how good she is. They don't even know who Evil Knivel is though.
Not many people around, so they walk to Arco Arena where Roxxanne is sure she has missed her show. The area is empty. No cars in the parking lot, and no people. They go and talk to a janitor near a back door of the place, and Roxxanne explains who she is, and that she doesn't want to miss her performance. He is freaked out by them, and thinks they are crazy. He says Arco Arena had been out of commission for at least a year, and that they should go get indoors before curfew at 7:00. He uses his cell phone as they are leaving. They go to a Radio Shack to get supplies to fix up the paratunneler, they go to a hotel. Roxxanne isn't used to normal prices for hotel rooms as someone else usually handles her money and is outraged at the normal price for two rooms with an adjoining bathroom. She charms the desk clerk to give them a discount. She gave her an autograph. They all go up their rooms, talk a bit, and then go to sleep. (Like Sliders)
Second- In the hotel they get freeze dried croissants for breakfast. They find out that there is a plague rampant here, and that half of the town is quaranteened. They explore, and find out stuff. They are in the park when the monkey sneezes on everyone, and Roxxanne gets sick. The monkey was sick first though, and ran off to the sewers. They can't get help from the police because having monkeys as pets is illegal. Then Roxxanne gets really sick and delirious. When they aren't paying attention Roxxanne wanders off to the sick part of town. They have to follow her. She sees them as monsters. The monkey is feeble and greenish tinged. They go into the sick part of town and get to know the people there. They find out that it is a bacterial disease, and that penicillan can cure it. Dannallee works on tree bark to create a cure. She does because she's really smart and stuff. They get a raid from the government, but since they now have the cure, the government won't have to kill all the sick people like they were going to. They jump through a new portal into the next world. (Like Sliders)
Third- New world. Terrorist bombings. Safe house they have to work. Lilliana shows them out. They agree to help her find mirror shards as it might help them get back home. She has a scooter. They have to go back for the motorcycle and Roxxanne gets away but Richard is caught and they have to sneak in to get him out. They get some cool gear, and then go back to the boarded up house where Lilliana's grandma died.
Fourth- Lilliana shows them to the place the first mirror shard is. An old bar strip club. She knows one of the guys, and he lets them in. There is wreckage and debris all around but the building is still standing. The shard is down a broken floor underneath the building. The pull away wreckage and find the shard. They all try it out to see what it does to them. Richard feels stronger with it, and Roxxanne can't tell but she gets the power of fire. Dannalee and Ttocs it doesn't seem to affect. Lilliana wants it, but they use it to connect to the paratunneller to go to the next closest dimension with one of the shards in it.
Fifth-They go through the portal with the first shard. Land in downtown, lots of people dressed up. They go to hotel, good prices. Bellhop is Dave, become friends. Ask Lilliana where next shard is, go down to where drag races are. Watch Derrick beat Shelby. Derrick is beat by Roxxanne after cajoling her to race against him. He wants her to race against him again, but with stakes. She says no, they go to Leatherbys. Dave's character Robby Toland joins up with them.
Sixth-Everyone in same world as #5. After Leatherbys they stop by the hotel and pick up Richard. Derrick has Ttocs and Dannalee race each other on Lilliana's scooter and his. I think Ttocs won. Then Derrick lets Roxxanne use the pink Scion that Shelby lost to Derrick to race him. They are at Rusch Park that has a small racing area. Roxxanne beats him again. He shows them to his place where he opens his secret trunk and pulls out the mirror shard. He gives them the shard. Lilliana pockets it. They talk about everything, and Robert wants to go with them. Derrick calls them crazy and they leave. They have five days left and use it to try to set up the alternate Ttocs and Dannalee in this world together. They also go paint the new scion a dark green with gold flecks, and fix up Roxxanne's motorcycle so that it's a as good as new. When saturday comes again, they go through the portal. New world. Forest, scarred children, tunnel, cramped, long way, turned right, underground pond, searching for shard under pond. Vehicles left at portal entry point.
Seventh-Down in the cave they talk about way to get the shard. Lilliana suggests they go ask someone for help. They go back outside and start a fire because it is late. Then Roxxanne, Ttocs and Richard try to climb a tree to get better view of the surroundings. Roxxanne and Ttocs don't make it very far, and have trouble making progress up. They come back down. Roxxanne goes and looks for animals to shoot and eat. Richard keeps climbing and eventually makes it up to 85 feet on the 100 feet tall tree. Roxxanne misses shooting a bunny, but finds a bambi bay dear and shoots it instead. She kills it and brings it back draped over her back with the blood dripping down and through her hair and clothes. Richard near the top of the tree is able to see the American River to the north, and even farther away in that direction a little town with a bonfire and smoke. He climbs back down and they all eat the badly carved Bambi.
They go to sleep because it is dark now. In the morning they set out for the village after some discussion about getting the motorcycle across the river. They go anyway, and it is three miles to the north. When they get there they argue and discuss, and Richard finally suggests that Roxxanne take off her tires so that the rims can ride on the rope bride across the river. That's what she does, and it weakens the bridge, but they all get across. Another seven miles to the north is the village with the bonfire. It's not burning anymore. Before they get there, but are within short radius of it, everyone except Roxxanne notices that there are no birds or wildlife. Then a little kid comes out of the woods after they heard lots of giggles surrounding them. He's wearing a paper bag with eye holes cut out. He says his name is Beezil when they ask, and he doesn't know the answers to some of their questions. He says he's a boy when they ask, and that the town's name is "The Town". His mother gave him the paper bag. He shows them where the leader is in the grown up place. Atop a tower in a playground with four slides and a tube with a ladder leading up to it. The leader's name is James. Lilliana stays down and talks to Beezil while the others go up to see James. He's a tall black guy who resembles Michael Jordan. They ask him, and he tells them about this being a commune, and the residents are out hunting for their food. They pay 100,000 dollars a year to live there. Beezil gets free residence because his mother used to work for the government and she died giving birth to him. You have to pay to get into this Sacramento National Forest, and have permits for everything. It's cheaper if you camp rather than paying to live in the villages. He tells them about an old guy who is called Tomahawk who lives by the river on the north side who might be able to help them find their mirror shard that they "dropped" into the small lake or pond in the cave.
They leave, and go towards the river. They have to climb down the steep rocky slope to get to his house, that only some of the people noticed because it was so far down, practically in the river. The lower half of the house is all waterlogged, with moss growing and such. They tell him what they need, and he tells them that he cane do it. Bargaining starts, but he doesn't like what they have to offer. He hasn't paid a permit to live there for many years, and dodges the government. He says he's not old, only 59, but he looks 75 years old. He decides he wants the privilege of being with the two attractive women Roxxanne and Lilliana who both have great looks. He also noticed that Dannalee is wearing a wedding ring so is off limits. Ttocs and Robby and Richard take turns talking to him about how that cannot be, and Roxxanne agrees that she doesn't want to be sold or whatever he's asking for. He shows them a contract, and Ttocs the lawyer skims over it, and tries to cross out things. It is just a summary of a sexual agreement and obligation to carry his child if it is conceived. Lilliana says she'll agree. She says she likes older men. Tomahawk gives her a contract, she reads it over, finds it okay, and gives it back to him. He folds it up into a tiny piece and sticks it in a hidden pocket. They go back, and Roxxanne takes her motorcycle over the rickety three rope bridge again, without snapping the rope. At the cave Tomahawk takes off his outer clothes, jumps into the water, and swims down. It takes him at least three minutes to get down to the bottom where the mirror shard is. He borrowed some gloves from Roxxanne so his fingers won't get cut in case he mishandles it. He notices something down in the water, and swims after it, some thing black. Then he comes back up. It was a pair of black panties. Overall, he was underwater about 8 minutes. They all start calling him the frog man behind his back after that.
He hands them the mirror shard, and then he and Lilliana go off to a separate section of the cave. No one goes to find out what they are doing. Instead they go explore the rest of the cave. Find some cave painting and colored chalk. Use the chalk to mark their way. Find an under water tunnel they can't traverse, and a big room after a spiral tunnel with mirrors on all the walls and a chandelier in the center of the ceiling. They look around for other doors, Ttocs finds a trapdoor. They open it, and Richard volunteers to go down on Robby's rope. Down he goes, with a flashlight. When he lands he is in a small cavern with piles of treasure. Gold coins, jewelry, gems, swords, armor, tiaras, crowns, necklaces, rigs, bracelets, and all sorts of treasure like that. Like a pirate treasure. They take out as much as they can. Richard got attacked by a large rat before he was able to take any treasure, but he beat it up, and filled his pockets with treasure. They take all the treasure out to the scion and load it up. With about a day left to slide away, they find Lillliana with Tomahawk out by the fire. He's unconscious and she's eating some fish she caught. She says she used his sedatives to put him to sleep. She took his drug case too. I think it is unknown whether she knocked him out before or after he got to do anything with her. She could have just been playing along with him so he would get them the shard. The new shard makes Richard invisible, and Roxxanne can't tell what it does for her. Richard trades it for the one Dannalee is using in the machine so he cane have the one that makes him stronger. I need to think of one that is good for Roxxanne. They get all their stuff ready and get ready to press the button to go to the next dimension.
Eighth-They go through the next portal. They have three months in this new place. They land in a swampy bog area. They get caught in the mud a few times, but send Roxxanne forward as a scout to detect the muddy sinkholes for them. They get out. Ttocs uses his GPS that shows a satellite picture of a nice park William Land park, next to the zoo. They get out, and get to the streets that are flooded on the edges as if the gutters are clogged up. They go down the street and ask Lilliana where she feels the next shard is. She directs them further down, a few miles, to the residential part of downtown with the little two storied houses with basements. No garages though. They go past a police barricade too. They stop in front of a house with a little poodle dog playing in the gutter water. Dannalee goes up and knocks on the door. They hear a mechanical whirring noise, and then lots of locks being undone from the door. A little old lady in a wheelchair opens the door and asks them what they are doing there. She also asks them if they have seen her Poppies. They look outside at the dog, and ask her if that is what she's talking about. She smiles, and whistles. The dog comes running up the steps and through their legs to jump on the old lady's lap. She pets him lovingly, ignoring that he's soaked and getting her all wet too. They ask her about the weather, and why it' so wet, but she says that it's not that wet for this time of year, that it's normal. They pause for thought when Richard blurts out:
"Oh, lets just say it. We're looking for a mystical mirror shard that glows and is radioactive. We're collecting them, and we'd like to know if you might be able to tell us where to find one."
She doesn't respond very well, and goes to her living room to call 911 to let them know that some crazy people have escaped. They leave and go to the house around the corner that Lilliana felt something coming from. It's an empty house that they bang on the door at. Richard calls "Police!" and knocks the door down. It looks like a normal place, but no one is there. And there have been no cars parked outside in the neighborhood. Ttocs and Dannallee and everyone search the place and only find a love note upstairs and some silverware downstairs. Then they decide to check the cellar. The cellar is flooded up five feet. Three feet down the stairs and then it is filled with water. They decide to look under the water for the shard. Ttocs goes and uses the snorkel and goggles and half wet suit they found in the closet. He looks and doesn't find anything useful. He does however find an underwater tunnel at the bottom of the cellar. Dannalee volunteers to go search the tunnel because she is the best swimmer. She does, and is there more than two minutes swimming, not sure how far she's gone, she is down for too long, and faints. Before she is there for more than two minutes Richard ties a rope to himself and tells Ttocs and Roxxanne to pull him back if he gives three sharp tugs. He jumps in, and swims pretty well because of his strength, not having the skill. He catches her, and brings her back. Ttocs performs CPR on her, she coughs up water, and stays unconscious for a little while before waking back up. They leave the house and go in the direction that the tunnel did. It goes to a house that has been demolished. They search the debris for the shard. Ttocs is sure that he's found it, but after Richard and Roxxanne hold it, they verify that it is just from a normal mirror. Under the debris Ttocs searches for a cellar opening, and finds one. This cellar is filled with water as well. There are boards sticking out, and in between, they can see a hand sticking out. It's a dead body of a guy in his pajamas. Dannalee I think is the one to pull him out. They search him, and find his wallet. His name is Joe Bloe. Ttocs I think goes under the water to look for the shard. He finds a refridgerator, furniture parts, debris, and a little locked up cabinet. He brings the cabinet back up with him. They search for keys on the dead guy, and find a set of house keys. They try all the keys before getting to the one that works for the cabinet. Inside a bunch of wet cookie, donut, and muffin crumbs come out. Behind all that is the mirror shard. Again Roxxanne's power with the shard is not obvious. It makes her feel like she can breathe really well. It makes a fire shield for Richard. They take all the three shards they have( because Lilliana has one, and stayed in the car because she said she didn't want to get wet.) and they hand the shards to Roxxanne to find out what all their powers for her might be. She tries jumping up and down, and starts to float. She tests them, and finds the one that does that, and it's the one that they just got that makes a shield of fire for Richard. So they let her have that one, and they go back to the car. The police are at the old lady's place, but don't take notice of them. They find out they have three more months in this dimension.

03:18 pm - My Car!
So.. my 1992 Corolla got a flat tire on Wednesday. I drove it around the corner and to the apartment parking lot, and then called dad after Jeff came home a few minutes later. Dad had decided not to go to his classes that day, so he was free. Someone else was using the car, so he came over in the scooter with a jack and a tire goop stuff that you spray into your flat tires to inflate it long enough to take to a shop. But since I had not stopped immediately the tire was too far damaged, and Jeff had to go with Dad to get new tires. I really needed new tires when I first got the car, they were worn down so much, but I just hadn't had the money, or if I had the money I forgot. So they took my flat tire, and got it replaced, and Jeff bought three other tires for the car. They came back and put the new tire on so I could drive it to Les Schwab and let them put the other three tires on. I asked them for the free brake inspection too because the brakes squeek, and I have no idea what condition they're in except that they seem to work all right. The tires were put on, and they told me the brakes had just gotten heat damage to make them squeek, but there was no other problems, and the brakes work fine, nothing wrong with them except the squeeking. And the only way to fix it is to get a whole new set of brakes. So I thanked them, and then went ot drop off the jack Dad let us borrow. I stopped at a car audio shop near the corner of Auburn and Greenback, and asked the guy working there how much it would cost to put the old radio from Alura's car into mine. He said to just install it would cost 30 bucks. But he checked to see if the radio worked first, and if my speakers were still good. All of my speakers are sorta rotted away, and the radio Alura gave me wasn't compatible with my car or something. He showed me a used radio and speakers that he could install. The cost of the radio, speakers, and installation altogether would be 75 dollars he said. I figured that was a good price so I agreed. He said it would take about two hours, and it would be a easier if I came the next day. Since I get off work at 11:15 I said I would be there around 12:00 or 12:30 the next day. Then I drove to my parents house and dropped off the jack. I decided it was time to finally clean the inside of my car. I asked for help, but only Bridget would show me how the attachments work on the vacuum. I took all the stuff out of the car, and Bridget vacuumed and I wiped all the crusty surfaces. I took the seat overs off and washed them too. I thought I remembered seeing in the box I bought them in that they were machine washable, but I was mistaken because after they went through the washing machine some of the fuzzy stuff lining them came off and scattered all over. I put them in the dryer when they were done, and by then it was getting a little bit late so I was hungry. Jeff called wondering if everything had gone well at the tire place. I told him it had and that I was late because I was cleaning my car and stuff. I then went and made some macaroni and cheese with hotdogs. I asked if anyone else wanted some, and Bridget, Lance, Jared, and Dad and maybe Heidi did so I made a lot. Mom wasn't home yet, and it was her turn to fix dinner, so I figured this would be nice for them to be able to eat at dinnertime. It was almost 6:00 when the macaroni was finished. So my car got cleaned and I had dinner at my parent's and then I went home. On Thursday I went to work at the ESL Adult class for three hours helping the teacher, and hearing more spanish. Then I went home to fix a quick lunch and then I drove the car to the audio place. Arturo got the equipment ready, and I got to watch him install the radio. It turned out I had some bad fuses and that was why the inside car light hadn't been working. He put the little speakers in the holes that had been cut in my front doors, and had to drill a hole for the wires to go through. I thanked him, paid, and then went to my parents house because the way they're doing construction on greenback it was the only way I could go until I was almost already there. I looked for and borrowed mom's glue gun, to help fix my droopy ceiling. I had used Dad's staplegun the night before to help it. Oh, and also the day before Jared had a band concert that I went to with mom, and afterwards we went ot Walmart to buy some duct tape. On thursday after borrowing the gluegun I went to Joe Ann's fabrics to get the glue sticks, and some normal glue. Because I realized that the gluegun needed to be plugged in to work. So I glued and then duct taped the edges of my car ceiling and it seems to be staying nicely. The radio and new tires are nice too. Now all I need are new locks, new door handles and a paint job!
